The SOLAS Container Weight Verification Requirements Update

Further to our previous notice regarding the SOLAS container weight verification requirements, the World Shipping Council together with a broad industry coalition jointly released a new Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) document to address queries arising from the new regulations.

The purpose of these joint FAQs is to promote awareness and a common understanding of the SOLAS requirements across all affected industry sectors – shippers, carriers, and marine terminal operators.
