Australia/New Zealand Trade – Rate Applicability Rule Update

Dear Valued Customer,

With effect from August 1, 2015, the Rate Applicability Rule for cargo movements in the Australia / New Zealand Trade, except for Australia and New Zealand to/from United States/Canada, will be changed to actual departure date of the vessel named in the bill of lading.  The new rule will be applied to all cargo shipped under a bill of lading of which the actual departure date is showing August 1, 2015, or later.

For Australia and New Zealand to/from United States/Canada, the rate applicability rule remains unchanged, using the date when a shipment is received by the carrier or its agent.
