Manager - Projects, Regions & Group Reporting

Accountabilities


To cope with business expansion and development needs, we are looking for a dedicated and quality talent to join the Headquarter finance team.  Reporting to the Head of Projects, Regions  and Group Reporting Section, the candidate is required to: 

  • Lead and coordinate cross‑department teams to drive system implementation/automation projects (especially logistics‑related projects). 
  • Translate operational processes into system workflows which comply with accounting principles and internal control standards. 
  • Drive and track project progress, including development of comprehensive project plans, resources allocation, user requirements collection, UAT and system implementation. 
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and efficiency of the existing accounting processes and procedures and identify opportunities for automation. 
  • Support the development of analytic tools, financial models & management reports to facilitate different FinCon teams to review financial performance and strengthen internal control. 
  • Collaborate with other HQ teams to automate and streamline workflows and sub-processes of regional entities and accounting service center, particularly for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting cycles. 
  • Produce high quality financial analysis and provide support ad‑hoc projects and assignments as needed. 



​Requirements

  • Qualified accountant with bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related discipline. 
  • Minimum 8 years’ work experience in the accounting field with 3 years in Big 4. 
  • Knowledge in shipping and logistics industry will be a definite advantage. 
  • Relevant work experience in China SOE and Jiuqi reporting is a plus. 
  • Strong understanding of ERP system and experience in system integration, data migration, and master data governance. 
  • Good analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills. 
  • Mature, self-motivated, deadline-driven a​nd can work under pressure. 
  • Cross department team-player with strong interpersonal skills. 
  • Computer literate in MS Excel (Advanced) /Word/PowerPoint; Experience in SAP is preferable. 
  • Proficient spoken and written Chinese and English with good command of Putonghua. 
  • Occasional travel is required.
