Assistant / Deputy Manager - Network & Cooperation East West
Job Location
Hong Kong Office
- To explore network growth opportunity through examining demand outlook and the identification of potential consortium partnership & other possible external collaboration
- To review and optimize network efficiency & vessel deployment strategy in conjunction with trade requirement
- To liaise and negotiate with other shipping lines on the service/corridors required alliance or consortium partnership & joint collaboration in the form of slot charter or exchange or joint services
- To resolve Trade, Operation, Legal or Fleet Management’s concerns from network perspective
- To conduct market research and analysis projects to assist the strategic planning
- To monitor cost and risk exposure
- To perform other ad hoc task and project as assigned
Requirements
- University graduate in Shipping, Logistics Management or Business Administration related disciplines
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proactive, problem-solving, detail-oriented and good team player
- Proficient in spoken and written Chinese and English, Putonghua is a must
- Proficient in PC skills and MS Office. Strong Excel and Presentation skills are essential
