Assistant Manager - Fleet Personnel
Job Location
Hong Kong Office
- To recruit, retain & assign sea staffs as per standing Procedures
- Planning of sea staffs assignment in accordance with home leave schedule
- Vessel attending for crew matters
- Communications with vessels and manning agencies
- To arrange sea staffs travel and lodging to ensure timely sea staffs replacement
- The handling and supervision of sea staffs documentation to ensure all are duly qualified in line with flag state and STCW regulations
- Processing crew remittance, Master cash advance, other payment vouchers timely and properly
- Computing crew wages accurately
- Ad hoc job assigned by Fleet Personnel Manager if required
Requirements
- University graduate in Business Administration, Human Resources or related disciplines
- Minimum 6 years’ relevant work experience, preferably in shipping industry
- Good knowledge in Employment Ordinance
- Proven initiative, meticulous, diligent and attentive to details
- Mature, well organized & result-oriented
- Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese
- Proficient in PC skills in MS Word, MS Excel & PowerPoint
