Officer / Senior Officer
Job Location
Hong Kong Office
- To maximize vessel utilization of assigned services, and ensure full and down achievement
- To optimize long-haul and double dipping opportunities for cost-effective slot utilization
- To review the allocation of assigned services for yield improvement
- To formulate and implement contingency plan for service recovery
- To communicate with regions and planners in order to maximize vessel utilization
- To communicate with business partners on day-to-day traffic matters in order to protect Company interests
- To prepare regular traffic reports and slot settlement
- University graduate in Business or related disciplines
- At least 3 years relevant work experience, preferably in shipping industry
- Good communication, analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
- Sensitive to figures and details
- Able to work independently and under pressure; possess business sense
- Proficient in spoken and written English and Chinese, spoken Mandarin preferred
- Competent in Windows applications
- Candidate with less experience will also be considered for the position of Officer
