Accountabilities


  • Process Improvement & Digital Transformation: Analyze and optimize sales processes to enhance efficiency and productivity, leveraging digital solutions and automation where appropriate. Identify bottlenecks and implement data-driven and AI-enabled improvements to streamline workflows and promote best practices in sales operations.
  • Strategic Sales Initiatives: Lead and support customer-focused sales projects and commercial initiatives. Collaborate with regional sales teams to align local processes with global standards, ensuring consistency in execution. Drive initiatives that enhance customer engagement and sales effectiveness across regions while maintaining a customer-centric approach.
  • Technology Integration: Work closely with IT and business intelligence teams to design, test, and implement sales systems (CRM platforms, analytics dashboards, etc.). Integrate emerging AI tools and process automation into sales operations to boost team productivity and enable better KPI tracking. Ensure that digital tools and systems meet the sales team’s needs for efficient workflow and performance measurement.
  • Data Analytics & Insights: Develop and maintain advanced dashboards and reports to monitor sales KPIs, performance metrics, and market trends. Use these analytics to provide actionable insights and forecasts to leadership for data-driven decision-making. Continuously refine reporting techniques (including predictive analytics) to anticipate sales trends and identify opportunities or risks.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a bridge between Sales and other departments (Customer Service, Operations, IT, etc.) to ensure process alignment with broader business goals. Facilitate regular stakeholder discussions to gather input and drive consensus on process improvements. Partner with key stakeholders to champion sales process excellence and coordinate cross-departmental efforts in global sales programs.
  • Change Management & Training: Champion the adoption of new processes and tools through effective change management. Develop clear documentation and provide training or workshops for sales teams on any process changes or new systems. Proactively communicate process updates and ensure stakeholders are well-prepared and supported during implementation, minimizing disruption and maximizing acceptance of innovations.



​Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Shipping, Logistics, Information System or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in Shipping, sales operations, business process improvement, or logistics industry roles, with significant exposure to regional trade operations.​
  • Proven project management skills to drive cross-functional initiatives and deliver results (PMP or Agile certification is a plus). Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, coordinate diverse teams, and meet deadlines while maintaining high quality.
  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in process mapping, defining and tracking KPIs, and making data-driven decisions. Comfortable analyzing complex datasets to identify trends and insights; experience with sales forecasting or advanced data analysis techniques is an advantage.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM systems and BI tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau) for sales reporting and analysis. Familiarity with process automation tools and emerging AI technologies to streamline operations is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels. Strong interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across departments. Fluent in English; proficiency in Cantonese and Mandarin.
  • Proactive, innovative, and forward-thinking mindset with a passion for continuous improvement. Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and industry trends (e.g. AI adoption, digital transformation). A high sense of responsibility and ownership, with a track record of driving positive change and process excellence.
