Assistant Manager / Deputy Manager - Corporate Process Data Analytics
Job Location
Hong Kong Office
- To support process transformation and digitalization initiatives for space allocation, cargo flow and traffic management operations.
- To steer business system initiatives and requirements, and prioritize development items with IT teams.
- To provide first-line support on application usage issues and coordinate resolution of production incidents.
- To provide training to new joiners and support users in the effective application of systems and digital solutions in daily operations.
- To analyze operational data, identify trends and opportunities, and provide insights to support decision-making.
- To develop and maintain reports, dashboards and analytical tools to support business performance monitoring.
- To support day-to-day shipment planning, operational disruptions and contingency situations.
- To work closely with traffic management teams and participate in cross-functional projects and operational improvement initiatives.
Requirements
- University graduate in Business, Shipping & Logistics, Information System or related disciplines
- At least 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the shipping industry with hands-on traffic management or trade traffic experience.
- Good communication, analytical, decision making and problem solving skills
- Self-initiative and sensitive to figures and details
- Able to work independently and under pressure; possess business sense
- High proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese (Putonghua).
- Competent in Windows applications and hands-on experience in Spotfire / Tableau will be an advantage
