Assistant Manager - Compliance
Job Location
Hong Kong Office
- Monitoring the latest updates on compliance requirements and reviewing relevant compliance policies and guidelines.
- Administering compliance training programs for the Group and/or the Group’s agents.
- Coordinating regulatory and compliance-related matters worldwide and providing guidance to relevant internal Group’s business units.
- Handling compliance-related enquiries in accordance with relevant compliance policies and guidelines.
- Keeping proper filing and records of all compliance-related documentation.
- Assisting in such tasks/projects as may be assigned from time to time.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Law, or other related disciplines with relevant professional qualifications (e.g. CPA, CGSS, CIPP or legal profession).
- Relevant experience in handling or reviewing the latest regulatory and compliance requirements in regional or multinational organizations; shipping/logistics commercial experience is an advantage.
- Sound knowledge in competition, sanctions and/or personal data protection regulations.
- Strong critical thinking with a pragmatic approach to problem-solving.
- Self-motivated and independent with a strong sense of responsibility; able to work under pressure and attentive to detail.
- Team player with excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
- Good command of spoken and written English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua is essential.
