Hong Kong (China) Colleagues Participate in Material Donations for the Underprivileged
Over the past few months, our volunteer team in Hong Kong (China) has organized several donation drives to share necessary and surplus supplies with the people in need.
Mosquito Repellent Balm Donation
As mosquito bites can cause severe illness, a repellent balm has thus become a much-needed item in summer.
In this donation activity, colleagues learnt to make tubes of mosquito repellent balm with natural ingredients. Each of them made two tubes and could keep one for themselves. A total of 40 tubes of repellent balm were donated to the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups for elderly people living alone.

Mooncake Donation
To reduce food waste in this year's Mid-Autumn Festival, our volunteer team held a donation campaign to gather surplus mooncakes (traditional festive bakery products) for re-distribution to underprivileged families through local food rescue charity Food Angel.
Thanks to our colleagues' support, 42 pieces of mooncakes with assorted flavors were successfully passed on to those in need this September.

Green Donation
In November 2022, our volunteer team organized a donation drive aiming to give unwanted goods a second life, turning them into usable resources treasured by those in need.
Colleagues were invited to donate excessive items such as clothes, accessories, home appliances and stationery that are clean and in good condition, which were then delivered to the Salvation Army to support the needy in the community.
