Cambodia Colleagues Support Local Students Through School Supply Initiative
On July 18, 2026, colleagues from OOCL Cambodia’s Liner and Logistics teams came together to organize a community support activity at Angkrong Primary School in Pursat Province, demonstrating our shared commitment to supporting the local community.
The initiative provided essential learning materials to 365 students, from pre-primary level through Grades 1 to 6, many of whom come from underprivileged backgrounds. The supplies included school bags, notebooks, pencils, erasers, rulers, school uniforms, and other study supplies to help support the students in their daily learning and encourage them on their educational journey.
Although modest in scale, this initiative reflects OOCL’s ongoing commitment to community care and corporate social responsibility. Through practical support and employee participation, the activity provided an opportunity for colleagues to contribute directly to the well-being and education of children in the local community.
Teachers and students warmly welcomed the OOCL team, while our colleagues value the opportunity to spend time with the children and take part in such a meaningful initiative.
Through activities like this, OOCL continues to promote a culture of care, compassion, and social responsibility, creating positive connections with the communities in which we live and work.
