Canada Colleagues Turn Gratitude into Action

In Canada, Thanksgiving is celebrated on the second Monday of October. In 2026, it fell on October 12, bringing families and friends together during the autumn harvest season.

From October 5 to 9, colleagues from Canada extended the season's spirit of sharing beyond their own celebrations by supporting people in need.

Turning Gratitude into Action

A Food Drive was organized the week before Thanksgiving. Colleagues brought extra food items from home to donate to individuals and families experiencing food insecurity. The initiative also encouraged everyone to reduce waste, turning appreciation into practical action.

Supporting the Local Community

The collected food was donated to Haven on the Queensway, a registered charity offering a range of local support programs. Its food bank provides essential resources to more than 1,100 users each week.

The initiative showed how compassion and teamwork can make a positive difference. By giving back, our colleagues strengthened their connection with the people and places around them while advancing both social and environmental well-being.
