Charleston Office Demonstrates Strong Community Spirit at 2026 Waterfront Olympics
On June 6, 2026, the OOCL Charleston team participated in the 2026 Waterfront Olympics, a community fundraising event organized by the Charleston Port and Seafarers Society. The event brings together local organizations in support of seafarers and port workers, fostering community engagement and collaboration.
Set in an outdoor environment, the Olympics featured a series of field‑day style competitions designed to promote teamwork, coordination, and sportsmanship. OOCL participants took part in activities such as sack races, three‑legged races, wheelbarrow relays, and team challenges, demonstrating strong collaboration and team spirit throughout the day.
The Charleston team delivered an outstanding performance, achieving multiple placements across individual and team events and securing third place overall among participating organizations.
