France Office Joins the Amazone Race to Raise Breast Cancer Awareness

On June 1, 2025, colleagues from OOCL France participated in the Amazone Race (L'Amazone) 2025, a women's solidarity run/walk held annually on the first Sunday of June in Le Havre, France to raise awareness and show support in the fight against breast cancer.

Covering a 6-km route, all participants wore the signature pink L'Amazone-branded t-shirts. They ran or walked to bring attention to breast cancer, spreading prevention messages and emphasizing the work of local associations that support affected individuals. L'Amazone helps fund these associations and research, demonstrating support for those battling the disease.

This regional sporting event unites women each year, accompanied by family, friends, or colleagues. Numerous companies across France support the event by registering their female employees, while men and boys also participate to demonstrate their support.

This year, several colleagues took part in this meaningful campaign. The race started from the Nelson Mandela esplanade at the foot of the Catène in Le Havre, offering scenic views along the route.

The contributions of our esteemed colleagues are essential in raising awareness and strengthening initiatives to support those in need.
