Hong Kong (China) Office Raises Mooncakes for Underprivileged Families at Mid-Autumn Festivals

Mid-Autumn Festival is a traditional festival in Chinese culture to celebrate with festive feasts over a full moon. It is also a tradition to enjoy mooncakes during the festival. However, there are underprivileged families that may not be able to afford mooncakes. To share the festive warmth with people in need, Hong Kong (China) offices  runs the mooncake donation campaign every year to encourage colleagues to donate surplus mooncakes to the needy.

The three offices in Hong Kong (China) enthusiastically responded to the campaign, raising 116 pieces of mooncakes that were in good condition to be donated and redistributed to underprivileged families through the NGO The Conservancy Association. Through this campaign, colleagues could share joy with underprivileged families during this festive occasion, and it also salvaged surplus mooncakes from being sent to landfills.
