Italy Colleagues Bring Christmas Gifts to Hospitalized Children
On December 20, 2025, colleagues at OOCL Italy came together for a community initiative to support children receiving care at the Gaslini Pediatric Hospital in Genoa, Italy.
Several colleagues volunteered their time to deliver panettoni (traditional Italian Christmas cakes) from Il Porto dei Piccoli to the children and their families. Other colleagues, although unable to take part in person, supported the initiative by purchasing additional gifts to be included in the distribution, extending the reach and warmth of the campaign.
Through this collective effort, the team helped bring moments of joy and comfort to young patients and their families during the festive season. The initiative also strengthened a sense of teamwork and shared purpose among colleagues, reaffirming the value of coming together to support the community.
This experience served as a reminder that beyond the movement of goods and routes, our work is ultimately connected to people and the values we share — care, solidarity, and compassion.
