OLCL Shenzhen Office Brings Festive Warmth to Elderly Care Home with Dragon Boat Festival Workshop

Colleagues from OOCL Logistics China (OLCL) Shenzhen office, together with their family members, brought warmth and care to an elderly care home through a Dragon Boat Festival Herbal Scent Pouch Workshop. The activity was held during the Dragon Boat Festival, a traditional Chinese festival marked by a variety of cultural customs. One such tradition is the making of herbal scent pouches, which have historically been associated with wishes for health and well-being.

Throughout the activity, volunteers worked alongside the elderly residents, providing assistance and encouragement where needed. Many residents actively participated by selecting and filling their preferred herbal blends, creating their own personalized pouches. The hands-on experience provided a valuable opportunity for volunteers and residents to interact, exchange stories, and enjoy meaningful companionship in a warm and festive setting.

Through this activity, our volunteers shared not only the traditions of the Dragon Boat Festival, but also care, companionship, and respect for the elderly members of our community. By fostering meaningful connections across generations and bringing moments of joy to those in need, OOCL Logistics continues to demonstrate its commitment to community engagement and social responsibility.
