Charity Walk and Fund Donation to St James’ Settlement
St James’ Settlement (SJS) has recently set up a Family Learning Corner (mini-library) in their Chai Wan Youth Centre for children of low-income families. OOCL Hong Kong (China) staff organized a charity walk in April to support this set up.
We donated all the funds raised to SJS for purchasing books, book shelves, tables and chairs, and any other related equipment for the Family Learning Corner. It is estimated that around 800 people can benefit from it each month.
