Spreading the Warmth to the Elderly

This winter, our Hong Kong colleagues volunteered with their families and friends to send some warmth to the elderly just before Christmas. 

On December 14, 30 volunteers brought with them 324 scarves knitted in the past three months to visit a center for the elderly.  The volunteers also performed Chinese opera, played games with the elderly, and taught them some exercises to help prevent falls.  Other than the scarves, the elderly also received packets of rice.  It was a great day for both our volunteers and the elderly.
