Tianjin Colleagues Volunteer in a Book Donation Drive for Rural Students
In the midst of a scorching summer, a group of dedicated volunteers from our Tianjin office came together for the "Books Delivering Sunshine" initiative. Their mission was to sort and package books for children in rural primary and secondary schools, aiming to bring hope and inspiration to these students.
Approximately 12 colleagues from both liner and logistics of the Tianjin office participated in the event. The books were collected at the gathering point, where our volunteers meticulously prepared, sorted and packaged each book. The volunteers worked tirelessly to ensure the books reached the children before their summer vacation, allowing them to enjoy the joy of reading during the break. The volunteers’ dedication shone through as they immersed themselves in the hands-on task.
Since the books came from all districts of the city, the workload was quite substantial. Our colleagues also provided essential supplies like drinking water, functional beverages, and fruits to other social volunteers to support one another.
