United Kingdom Colleagues Go the Whole Hog for Mental Health
On October 4, colleagues from OOCL United Kingdom (OUKB) took part in the Whole Hog Race Challenge at Wantisden Hall in Suffolk, UK, to raise funds for Mind, a charity that supports people experiencing mental health problems.
The annual obstacle challenge, organized by Whole Hog Races, tested the team's fitness, determination, and teamwork on a demanding course filled with mud, water, and obstacles.
Completing the course required determination, resilience, and plenty of teamwork. From tackling muddy obstacles to cheering one another on, our colleagues embraced every challenge and crossed the finish line together. The experience strengthened their connections and will support even better teamwork in the workplace.
The team funded the challenge themselves and invited family, friends, and colleagues to support their fundraising efforts. Their participation also raised awareness of a meaningful cause. Mind provides information and support to people experiencing mental health problems and campaigns for better mental health services and greater understanding of mental health.
Our sincere thanks go to our colleagues for taking on the challenge and making a positive impact beyond the workplace through teamwork.
