UK Colleagues Participate in Wear It Pink Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign
October is the Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Our UK colleagues participated in the Wear It Pink campaign organized by Breast Cancer Now – the largest comprehensive breast cancer charity in the country. The campaign aimed to raise awareness of breast cancer and to support funding for life-saving breast cancer research.
On October 21, 2022, colleagues all donned their pink clothing for the day. Those who were working remotely got in on the act too. Throughout the week colleagues also shared details on breast cancer, what the signs are and how to check yourself. Posters were displayed on how breast cancer can affect both men and women. Colleagues also organized a bake sale to raise fund for the charity.
