USA Charleston Office Spreads Holiday Cheer with “Christmas at Sea” Initiative
OOCL USA Charleston office is proud to share the success of this year’s "Christmas at Sea" initiative. This year, the Charleston office teamed up with the Charleston Port and Seafarers Society to bring some holiday cheer to the crews aboard vessels calling the Port of Charleston in December 2025.
The Seafarers Society collaborates with the entire transportation industry and local community to gather volunteers who donate Christmas boxes. These boxes are distributed to all vessels visiting the Port of Charleston, ensuring that the crew members have a present to open while at sea on Christmas Day.
Throughout November and the first week of December, the office was filled with the festive spirit—gifts piling up and colleagues wrapping presents during lunch breaks.
This year, we are thrilled to announce that our Charleston office successfully prepared 55 Christmas at Sea boxes! These boxes were delivered directly to the vessels as they called the Port of Charleston.
