​Volunteers from Tianjin Office Support Sanitation Workers Working under the Scorching Sun

On a scorching summer day in June with temperature over 40°C, volunteers from our Tianjin office extended their kindness to outdoor sanitation workers by bringing them cold drinks and snacks to keep them cool.

The heat can be unbearable, especially for those who work outside and are responsible for keeping the city tidy. Echoing the Company’s commitment to community responsibility, our volunteers offered support and respect to sanitation workers who work hard to maintain a clean and beautiful city.

Over 20 colleagues from our Tianjin office participated in the activity, which was organized with collaboration with a local cleaning company. Participants were divided into two teams – one to visit sanitation workers at the Tianjin Railway Station and the other to support sanitation workers at the He Dong District, where our office is located.

The volunteers brought cold drinks, mineral water and mung beans (to be used for making soup that has a cooling effect) to help sanitation workers combat the heat and stay hydrated.

The cleaning company expressed its deep appreciation for the initiative on its website.
