Volunteers from Xiamen Office Organize Charity Movie Viewing for People with Disabilities​

On August 13, 2023, our Xiamen office organized a charity movie viewing event for people with physical and mental disabilities and their families. Around 30 colleagues from both Liner and Logistics of the Xiamen office participated as volunteers. In collaboration with Fujian Heart for the Disabled Public Welfare Organization, we invited 50 people with impairments and their family members to enjoy the highly popular historical animated film in a movie theater in Xiamen.

In view of the need to spread care to people with disabilities in the community, volunteers hoped to pass on love to them in the small gift of a movie ticket. As the movie lasted for almost 3 hours, our volunteers prepared refreshments alongside the movie for the participants' enjoyment. The participants also felt the care of our volunteers, who played an instrumental role in the planning, promotion and onsite assistance of the event.

The movie viewing event was a success. It was the first time that the Xiamen office organized such kind of community responsibility activity. Apart from the positive feedback from the beneficiaries, the event also enjoyed an enthusiastic response from our volunteers to lend a helping hand. We hoped the endeavor did not only warm the hearts of helpers and beneficiaries, but also imparted our corporate spirit to give back to society.
