OOCL added pages in Japanese to its oocl.com website, today.
Initially, “Sailing Schedule”, “Country Information”, and a new feature, “Shipping Announcement”, which constitute the most important shipping information required by customers, were made available in Japanese.
OOCL believes that this important enhancement will be welcomed by its Japanese customers, allowing them to view important and the latest shipping information in their own language.
Sailing Schedule allows customers to synchronize the delivery of their goods with the arrival or departure of a vessel. Country Information, meanwhile, contains extensive information about OOCL’s Japanese operations, including office locations, sales contacts, customer-service provision, service profile, cut-off schedules, terminal locations and facilities, and operating restrictions. Finally, the new feature “Shipping Announcement”, provides the latest local shipping information to allow customers to better plan their shipments according to the latest traffic situation.
More features in Japanese will be offered by OOCL in the near future, in line with customer needs.
