m.v. OOCL Hamburg arrived Hong Kong on March 15, 2004 from Yantian on her maiden voyage from Asia to US, following her naming ceremony in Korea on February 20.

Senior Management from OOCL and representatives from Modern Terminals (MTL) were present at the CHT Terminal to welcome the arrival of the 8,063-TEU SX-class newbuilding.

The British captain of m.v. OOCL Hamburg, Roger Llewellyn, received the commemorative plaque presented by MTL to commemorate the ship’s maiden call to Hong Kong.

m.v. OOCL Hamburg then left Asia en route to Long Beach, US.

Port Kelang / Singapore / Yantian / Hong Kong / Long Beach / Kaohsiung / Hong Kong / Shekou / Singapore , and back to Port Kelang for a round trip of 42 days.
