ANL Container Line (ANL) and ACE group members, China Shipping Container Lines Ltd and Orient Overseas Container Line Ltd (OOCL) have jointly set up an ANL/ACE North Asia Service, AANA, which will commence operation in mid May, 2004.
The port rotation will be Yokohama / Osaka / Pusan / Qingdao / Shanghai / Ningbo / Xiamen / Hong Kong / Kaohsiung / Melbourne / Sydney / Brisbane / Yokohama on a fixed day weekly basis.
AANA will deploy a total of six vessels, three from ANL and three from ACE with a capacity of approximately 2,500 teu each.
ACE’s weekly service covering Kaohsiung / Hong Kong / Shanghai / Chiwan / Hong Kong / Sydney / Melbourne / Brisbane / Kaohsiung will remain unchanged. ANL will also share space on the ACE service.
ANL, OOCL and China Shipping Container Line will be able to provide their Australia and Asia customers a top class service with extensive coverage of Greater China ports in addition to Korea and Japan ports.
