OOCL Announces Modification of its STX (Setouchi/Taiwan Express) Service

OOCL announced today details of the newly modified STX (Setouchi / Taiwan Express) service. This newly reinforced service offers fixed day weekly direct services between Japan, Taiwan and Hong Kong in a two-loop operation, making calls to niche ports in the Setouchi region of Japan.

The first sailings by ‘m/v Tokyo Glory 038N’ will arrive Hong Kong on 11th May 2004 to be phased into Loop-A, while ‘m/v ACX IYO 001N’ will arrive at Kaohsiung on 13th May 2004 to be phased into Loop-B.

The new service starts with Loop-A calling at Kaohsiung (Thursday), Senboku (Sunday), Osaka (Monday), Mizushima (Tuesday), Matsuyama (Tuesday), Tokuyama (Wednesday), Hiroshima (Wednesday), Nakonoseki (Thursday), Keelung (Saturday), and back to Kaohsiung (Sunday), while Loop-B will be calling at Kaohsiung (Sunday), Shibushi (Wednesday), Kokura (Thursday), Tokuyama (Friday), Hong Kong (Tuesday), and back to Kaohsiung (Thursday).
