The Merchant represents, warrants and agrees that: (a) The Goods and any Container loaded by the Merchant are packed and secured in such a manner as to be handled in the ordinary course of the transportation without damage to the Goods, Vessel, Containers or other property or persons;

(b) Any Goods placed by the Merchant in Containers are compatible and suitable for transportation in Containers;

(c) He is or has the authority of the person owning or entitled to the possession of the Goods and this Bill of Lading; and

(d) The Merchant further warrants that the Container if not supplied by or on behalf of the Carrier meets all ISO and/or other applicable national or international safety standards and is fit in all respects for carriage by the Carrier.
