A: Please specify the loss type such as shortage, reefer cargo damage, contamination, cargo physical damage, wet damage, fire damage, non delivery, delay, etc.
Q: What is Brief Description of The Incident?
A: Please specify when, where and how the incident / damage happens, and specify the current situation if any.
Q: What is the Cargo Delivery Date?
A: It refers to the time of the removal of the goods from the custody of OOCL into the custody of the person entitle to delivery thereof under this Bill of Lading.
Q: What are “Estimate Claim Amount” and “Cargo Invoice Value”?
A: Please estimate the potential loss might be incurred from this matter if it has yet been ascertained. Please specify the cargo value shown on the commercial invoice.
Q: What is Letter of Authority?
A: If you are not the party having an interests in the cargo, the Letter of Authority is needed to prove you are the rightful party to file the claim.
