Update - Heavy weight surcharge 20ft container ex Far East

Dear customer,

following the increasing demand for 20ft equipment leading to continued deadweight problems from most Asian ports, OOCL is revising the scope for following charges as of July 1st, 2007:

Applicable for all 20ft Container types
Weight = cargo weight
CPR = 20ft Container Premium
CWC= Heavy Weight Charge >15tons
CWX= Heavy Weight Charge >20tons
 
Effective July 1st, 2007 no booking acceptance for EastMed/Black Sea cargo exceeding 24 tons

For any mis-declaration a penalty fee of USD 2000 per container is to be paid by the customer.
