Measures to ensure terminal performance
Dear Sirs and Madams,
due to result of the drastically grown cargo flow, and the resulting container-quantities in the hinterland, the capacity of our terminal CTS Cologne-Niehl-Harbor is at its maximum. To keep up our normal quality service we have to take exonerative controlling measures.
In particular, the amount of empty-containers stored at CTS cause a reduction of our performance. Due to this, we have to reduce the workload in our empty container depot ad-hoc.
Please understand that we do not accept empty third-party container deliveries beginning from 06.25.2007/00:00 until further notice. This action concerns third-party depot-container which should be delivered (GATE IN) to CTS for container-line-empty-container-depots.
Furthermore we want to inform you, that transport orders via the CTS network are explicitly not affected Empty-container pick up (GATE-OUT) is also not affected and helps to exonerate the mentioned actions.
As soon as the terminal overload is reduced (empty stacks), and we can ensure an interference-free operation of the terminal, the above mentioned measures will be cancelled in short term.
For queries and explanations of the advertised measures please contact Mr. Dirk Blohsfeld or Mr. Oliver Grossmann.
Thank you for your understanding for these quality insurance measures.
Best regards
C T S
