please note following update on actual surcharges as well as deregulation:

Eastbound GRI    effective 01.07.08    
USD 240/300 per 20/40ft container
USD 400        per Reefer container

Eastbound Empty Positioning Midwest    
dry cargo    terminated 23.05.08

Eastbound Booking Cancellation Fee      
USD 300/booking    effective 23.06.08
This charge will only be applied: where Shipper has cancelled booking(s) on three successive sailings within five working days of the vessel cutoff, the cancellation fee will be assessed for the third and any subsequent cancelled booking.

Deregulation:

As explained in our previous announcement on Europe-USA Trade please be informed that also the Canadian Conference will be terminated effective July 31st, 2008.

Therefore please note the OOCL CAF and BAF levels for all shipments from/to Canada and US-Midwest via Montreal:

OOCL BAF    effective 01.07.08    USD 165/Teu

All other surcharges remain in place unchanged until further notice.
