Montreal Low Water Surcharge 

Dear Valued Customer,

Water levels in the St. Lawrence River are at historically low levels as a result of less winter snow and less rainfall during the spring. The latest projections are that water levels will not improve in the coming months.

A Low Water Surcharge will be implemented for all cargo moving via the Port of Montreal with effect from May 26 2012 as follows;

·          USD 75 per 20’ container

·          USD 150 per 40’ and 45’ container
