Water levels in the Canadian St. Lawrence River continue to be unusually low, and the latest projections indicate that the water levels are set to reduce further. In light of this situation we will increase our Low Water Surcharge for all cargo shipments via the Port of Montreal with effect from August 6 to the following levels:
- US$ 100 per 20’ container
- US$ 200 per 40’ or 45’ container
For the avoidance of doubt, Shipment Date on this trade is defined as the Cargo Received Date.
