Customer Advisory: Quebec Spring Thaw Weight Restrictions Update
Dear customer,
Please note the Quebec Spring Thaw Weight Restriction period will begin March 5th, 2012 and continue through May 4th, 2012.
During this period, the maximum cargo weight for all shipments moving by truck to and from Montreal. The Canadian Pacific Railway and Canadian National Railway will also restrict acceptance of rail shipment with a Montreal destination to the maximum highway cargo weight limit during this period.
Below are the maximum cargo weight limits for truck moves to and from Montreal during the Quebec Spring Thaw Weight Restriction Period. Loads exceeding the below cargo weights may incur extra costs that will need to be guaranteed prior to the delivery. The additional costs may include extra miles driven, partial de-vanning to reduce load to legal weight limits and/or fines.
