Please note that we wish to clarify the application of the WB PCS rule to cover all US destinations via Canada and Mexico. PCS will apply to all US FND’s via Canada/Mexico for bookings made on/after December 27th. The level to be assessed will be the same as per US ports, namely:-
$ 800 per 20’ container
$ 1000 per 40’ container
$ 1265 per 45’ container
In the event that no labour unrest occurs, PCS will not be applicable. Further, once congestion has occurred, then it will continue to be assessed until such a time as OOCL provides notice that the impact of the congestion on its operations has ended. As per PCS via US ports, we will apply this surcharge on a collect basis.
