Japan's 24 hour Advanced Manifest – NVOCC House Bill Filing 

Dear valued customer, 

To ensure a smooth implementation of Japan Advance Manifest could you please confirm by close of business Friday 21. February 2014 that your company is fully registered with Japan Customs Authorities (NACCS), either by yourself or through a Service Provider. 

If you are fully registered, can you also confirm that there will always be at least one House Bill for every Carrier Master Bill or will there be occasions when no House Bill will be required?

Kindly also let us have a main email address to which we can provide the mandatory info you will need for your filing before sailing.

If you are not fully registered yet, you still need to do so. Please act as soon as possible to avoid cargo hold at port of loading.

For your reference, OOCL will be making Carrier Master B/l submissions via our IT provider “Cargo Smart” who is registered in Japan.

This Service Provider is also available to NVOCC Shippers for House Bill submission and we attached information for your ease of reference.

If you are not registered and you do not have House Bills, please just confirm that you do not have House Bills but are aware of the Japanese requirements.

To all, please note that in any case we need following details included in the standard shipping instructions:

- 6-Digit HS code for each cargo item

- cubic meter for each cargo item

- whether any House Bill is associated or not
