Inland-CY Product Expansion to Czech Republic and Slovakia

We are pleased to announce that after last year's launch of our Inland CY-product for Germany and Austria, we have further expanded our ICD network by the addition of five new facilities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Our new Inland CY-locations are:

•  Melnik, Bratislava, Brno, Prerov and Paskov

Do you have specific requirements for the delivery of your containers and wish to organize transportation between the inland terminal and your delivery address under your own arrangement?

Do you require more flexibility to arrange your delivery appointments at short notice from the inland terminal, directly with the vendor of your choice?

Do you wish to leverage the expertise and transport-capacities of OOCL to organize the long haul between the ocean port and the inland terminal?

​Then we believe our Inland-CY product will be of interest to you!

• We offer our Inland-CY product across all Trades, initially for Dry cargo only (including DG) 
• You place your export or import booking from or to an Inland-CY, using any one of our booking channels including FreightSmart
• In addition to the agreed ocean freight rate, we charge an inland haulage rate for the transportation between the ocean port and the Inland-CY
• You arrange the delivery of your containers from or to the Inland-CY with the service provider of your choice for your own account
• For exports, OOCL organizes the transportation from the Inland-CY to the ocean port, in line with the loading date of the intended ocean vessel
• For imports, OOCL organizes the transportation from the ocean port to the Inland-CY  as soon as the container is available after discharge (subject to the shipment being duly cleared for release and customs requirements being complied with)

Inland-CY Storage 

• For imports, Storage Free Time starts upon container arrival at the Inland-CY. Free Time at the ocean port is at the expense of OOCL, unless the container has not been duly cleared for release or customs requirements are not met
• For exports, Storage Free Time starts upon the container's gate-in at the Inland-CY. The Free Time is calculated based on the applicable cut-off date at the Inland-CY. Any Storage charges at the ocean port will be on account of OOCL, unless the delay has been caused by the customer
