as of October 1, 2025, a new release process for import containers will be mandatory in all German seaports.

The known PIN release process will then be replaced by a new digital release process called “Secure Release Order". In order for you to continue picking up your containers in German seaports, you must connect to the release platform GermanPorts, which is operated by the providers DBH & Dakosy.
