Shipping Instruction Submission

SI SUBMISSION

Dear Customers,
 
We would like to remind you that shipping instruction (SI) has to reach OOCL office before cutoff time.  Timely SI submission is important for us to complete our required documentation works in time and more importantly, helps your shipping partner avoid unnecessary container pick-up delay at destination.

As you are aware, for cargo going to China, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, the Philippines, Vietnam, Middle East, and Indian sub-Continent, carrier is required to send shipment manifest to the customs of these destinations certain day(s) before vessel arrival at discharge port.  Otherwise, concerned cargo is not allowed to be discharged.   Therefore your co-operation in submitting SI before cutoff time is critical. 

We would like to recap following SI cutoff arrangement for your easy reference:
• Cargo to China, Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam - 24 hours before vessel arrival at loading port
• Cargo to other East Asian countries excluding China, Philippines, Taiwan, and Vietnam – within 24 hours after vessel departure at loading port
• Cargo to Middle East, and Indian subcontinent – within three days after vessel departure at loading port.

In case there is late or no submission of shipping instruction, your company will be held fully liable for all consequential losses, costs and penalty.
