Notice to Shippers
New Requirement – Toy Imports from China to India
Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you that, the Government of India has announced an import prohibition (Notification No. 82 / (RE-2008) / 2004-2009) for “Toys” from China under ITC Codes 9501, 9502 & 9503 for 6 months with immediate effect and until further notice.
As of Foreign Trade Policy, India now prohibits “Toys” imported from China under ITC Codes 9501, 9502 and 9503 of Schedule I (Imports) of the ITC (HS) Classifications of Export and Import Items. For smooth compliance, from now on, we would like to seek for your cooperation to submit accurate ITC Codes when placing bookings for “Toy” shipments from China to India.
