Indonesian Regulation - Wood Packing materials
Dear Customers,
Please be informed that, effective from September 1 2009, the Government of Indonesia has announced new regulation for wood packing materials and wooden pallets for shipment importing to Indonesia.
All importations to Indonesia using wood packing materials are subject to compliance with The Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Indonesia Regulation No. 12/Permentan/OT.140/2/2009. Please kindly ensure all your shipments to Indonesia using wood packing materials and wood pallets to comply with ISPM#15 and attaching the related Fumigation Certificate with your shipping documents.
Non compliance may result in packing materials and wood pallets be destroyed by the authority at consignees' cost and late delivery of cargo. For detailed regulation, please refer to website of the Indonesian Customs and Excise Department.
