Notice to Shippers
Ban Lifted – Toy Imports from China to India
Dear Customers,
We would like to inform you that, with immediate effect, the Government of India has announced a regulation amendment (Notification No. 91 / (RE-2008) / 2004-2009), which permits toys from China under ITC Codes 9501, 9502 and 9503 if accredited specific certificate.
Permission is given to toys if accompanied particular certificate (please refer to attached Regulation Notification for certificate requirements). For smooth compliance, from now on, we would like to seek for your cooperation as below:
1. Submit accurate ITC Codes when placing bookings for “Toy” shipments from China to India.
2. Submit the required certificate when placing bookings for “Toy under ITC Codes, 9501、9502 and 9503” shipments from China to India.
In case of non-compliance, you are liable for any fines, penalties and/or extra costs incurred. For detailed regulation and certificates descriptions, please refer to website of the Government of India at http://dgft.delhi.nic.in/ or attached Regulation Notification.
