Set Up of “Orient Overseas Container Line
Limited – OOCL Hong Kong Branch”
Dear Customer,
We are pleased to inform you that the OOCL Group has started a new corporate organization concept of setting up its own branch offices worldwide and this concept is also adopted in Hong Kong.
With effect from September 30, 2010, OOCL’s business, currently conducted through OOCL (HK) Ltd as the agent for Orient Overseas Container Line Limited (OOCLL) in Hong Kong, will be operated under the branch office of OOCLL, Orient Overseas Container Line Limited – OOCL Hong Kong Branch. This herald in a new era for OOCLL; and through the OOCL Hong Kong Branch to enhance closer relationship with customers and effective communication with the communities.
Orient Overseas Container Line Limited – OOCL Hong Kong Branch will provide the same services being performed by OOCL (HK) Ltd before September 30, 2010, with the same personnel. All business contracts and/or rate agreements conducted between your company and OOCLL will remain unchanged.
