Inbound DG Restrictions during Chinese New Year Holiday
In South China
Dear Customers,
Please kindly be advised that during the forthcoming Chinese New Year Holiday, there will be operation restrictions for import shipments in South China (including Guangdong, Guangxi, Hainan & Yunnan) as follows:
- For Hainan/ Guangxi/ Yunan and “Pearl River Delta” ports, including but not limited to Huangpu/ Foshan/ Sanshui/ Guangzhou/ Zhanjiang/ Zhongshan/ Zhuhai/ Jiangmen/ Shantou/ Huizhou/ Dongguan, all inbound Hazardous shipments will be prohibited from Jan 16 to Jan 29, 2012. Moreover, during this period, feeder service will be suspended. The exact suspension time for different port may be slightly different.
- For Shenzhen ports including Shekou/ Yantian/ Chiwan / Da Chan Bay, import operations are same as usual.
Any demurrage/ detention incurred at transhipment port will be on account of cargo due to such restrictions during the aforesaid period. Please kindly arrange your shipment well in advance.
