REMINDERS : Arrangement on VAT Invoice issuance  in South China* 

In accordance with the New Circular 37 of Cai Shui [2013]on the “Tax Policy of VAT Pilot Program on Transportation & Modern Services Sector”, jointly issued by the Ministry of Finance (MOF) and the State Administration of Taxation (SAT) of P.R. China on 24 May 2013, additional VAT and associated taxes will be levied on top of the freight and surcharges payable at China effective 1st August, 2013.

In order to avoid extra tax incurred for your company after 1st August, 2013, we would like to remind you to provide us the confirmation on the payable amount and the invoice information before 10:00am on the 31st July, 2013. For those late confirmation after 10:00am on 31st July,2013, VAT invoice will be issued after 1st August,2013 and will be subjected to VAT and its associated surtaxes at 6.78% for payment location in South China*
