On-duty Arrangements for OOCL Hong Kong & South China
during extended holiday in 2020 Chinese Lunar New Year
Dear Customers,
According to the notice issued by the Government of Guangdong Province that the Lunar New Year holidays are to be extended and delayed resumption of work not earlier than Feb 9 as part of the prevention and control of the outbreak, OOCL branch office in South China is scheduled to resume work on 10th February 2020. To ensure the safety of our staff and minimize service disruption to customer, our staff will work from home to provide you with timely and effective services during the extended holiday period. Meanwhile, for the related services in Hong Kong office including customer service, counter customer service and financial service which has been resumed normal since 29th January, 2020. Here below with the details for the on-duty arrangements for respective department for your reference: -
1. Import, Export & Reefer Customer Services

2. Guangzhou & Shenzhou Counter Customer Service ( OBL / Vessel Cert. / Telex Release issues)
• Counter service will be opened on 3rd / 5th and 7th February, 2020 from 08:30 AM to 13:00 PM to handle the document issuance at Guangzhou and Shenzhen office. You are encouraged to use e-Service via MOC to handle your documents including but not limited to online download the vessel certification, online print the OBL. Should you have any other inquiries, please send an email to our designated mailbox at GUACCS@OOCL.COM (for Guangzhou) or SCNCCS@OOCL.COM (for Shenzhen)
• Hong Kong Counter Customer Service - Maintain as normal operation.
3. Sales Department
All sales team in South China are work from home. If there is any urgent matter, please reach our sales representative via Wechat or mobile for smooth contact. While for sales team in Hong Kong, some sales are work in office while others sales will work from home. For any urgent business, you can also contact them via Wechat, Whatsapp or mobile phone.
4. Financial Department
• You can check the updated invoice via MOC and visit www.oocl.com to obtain our bank account information.
• Please arrange your payment in RMB to our RMB account by remittance and send the bank-in slip to our designated mailbox as below listed. Our company will check and update your payment record asap. We will send back the payment receipt to you upon office resumed in normal working day.
• For US dollar payment, you can settle the payment in RMB first if any urgent business. Please refer to the exchange rate which stipulated in the Bill of lading to convert the charges from USD in RMB. After payment settlement, please send the pay-in slip to our respective branch of financial department. After office resume normal to work, our financial colleague will arrange payment refund to your company if any RMB is overpaid.

5. Operational Department
