Special arrangement for OOCL Shenzhen branch office(14th – 18Th March 2022)

Dear valued customers,
 
OOCL’s Shenzhen branch office will be working remotely during 14th to 18th March while maintaining the highest possible level of service for you.


Please find the latest service arrangement update in Shenzhen for 14th to 18th March.


1. Terminal/Depot Operations Update
·         Yantian, Shekou and DaChanBay are now under normal operation, outside depots and gatehouse are also operating normally. Customers could pick up empty and return laden at designated terminal/depot with printed EIR as normal.
 
2. Counter Service (Original Bill of Lading release, Tele-release, One-off Sea Waybill, etc.)
·         Our Diwang office at Shenzhen offers counter service during normal operating hours from 08:30am to 1:00pm and 2:00 to 5:30pm for handling customers’ requests.  For enquiries, please send email to [email protected]
·         Customers are encouraged to use E-channel for Bill of Lading printing and cargo tracking , or to submit and collect necessary documents by courier.
 
 
3. Booking Acceptance
·         Please continue using E-channel (MOC/EDI) to place booking.  For enquiries, please send email to [email protected] and we will try to reply as soon as possible.
 
4. Export Customer Service (Booking amendment / cancellation / other enquiries)
·         Please continue using Email or call our Customer Service Hotline for assistance.
 
5. Documentation (Shipping Instruction submission, BL amendment and etc.)
·         Please continue using E-channel to submit SI or other amendment request.  For other enquiries, please send email to respective Documentation mailbox.
 
6. Payment collection (invoice issuance and etc.)
·         Customers can choose to settle the payment in USD by paying to our bank account in Guangzhou instead. We will verify and settle the account as soon as possible, and will mail out the VAT invoice on a normal business day. Any fee related to the amendment of the invoice will be waived.
·         Customers can also settle the USD portion of the invoice by making a payment in CNY via e-Banking to our Shenzhen bank account and submit the bank receipt to us. To get the USD VAT invoice, the customer can then pay USD to our Shenzhen bank account when the banks reopen. The CNY that was initially paid can either be deducted or refunded.
·         During this period, we will issue electronic VAT invoice to provide greater convenience to our customers.
 
7. Cargo Release arrangement
·         With the closure of majority of Ship Agent offices, we managed to re-open Yantian office from 15th Mar for DO exchange/EIR print arrangement.  For customers with DO exchange, please reach out to our IB customer service team for special handling.
 
We apologize for the inconvenience caused during this period. We will closely monitor the government's latest policies and will resume normal operation as soon as the situation allows.
